Chad Sclove is a Principal with consulting firm We Scale Impact who brings over 20 years of international and U.S.-based consulting and operations expertise across the nonprofit and private sectors. His experience includes strategic and business planning, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, assessing and implementing IT/data systems for tracking programs and finances, streamlining operations, fiscal management, and philanthropic strategy.
Chad served for over four years as a Program Officer with the Fidelity Foundations, a private funder focused on building the capacity of grantees across human services, healthcare, education, arts and culture, and conservation. In this role, Chad stewarded a portfolio of $10M+ in grants annually, including investment in major capital campaigns.
Prior to the Fidelity Foundations, Chad spent 10 years building Common Good Ventures, a nonprofit consultancy focused on serving Maine’s social sector. In this role, Chad also managed the Program for Nonprofit Effectiveness – a capacity-building grant program in partnership with Maine Community Foundation.
Chad received his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he served as co-founder of the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE). He began his career with the Monitor Company, consulting to Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries, after earning his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Computer Science and Economic Geography.
